Why did you get involved with the Volney parents' organization?
"I went to school there and my son started kindergarten there. Because of my work schedule it was hard to be involved with the school. This is my chance, and once a month I get a chance to get involved with other parents and the school."
Why did you get involved with leadership Oswego County? "It gets you familiar with the businesses in Oswego County and does a lot with leadership. I've lived in Oswego County my whole life, but there are really some best-kept secrets out there. It helps you to understand both the political and business sides of the community."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
"I hope to be teaching in a nursing or health program, hopefully in Oswego County."
