Education: Master's in criminal justice, SUNY Albany; M.P.A. (public administration), Marist College.
Civic Leadership: Exceutive boards of: National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives; national Black State Troopers Coalition; Guardian Association of New York State Troopers.

Why is being on so many boards important?
"The organizations all bring awareness and keep people informed on careers in law enforcement. NOBLE set up a scholarship in my name, the Elliot T. Boyce Superior Work Ethic Scholarship; $1,000 goes to a student that is committed to working hard and bettering the community, We give the scholoarship to any student in CNY that is qualified."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
"Probably retired from the NY state police. I'd like to to be a police or college administrator. maybe somewhere in a college setting and still in a police environment. I really have a passion for teaching."
