Executive Director, Friends of Oswego County Hospice

Job Description: Works for the board to accomplish its mission to provide support, hospice services and create education throughout the county to assist patients and their families.
Education: Master's in business administration, SUNY Oswego.
Civic Leadership: Oswego County Hospice board member; Greater Oswego County Chamber of Commerce member; Zonta Club member.

Why did you join Zonta?
"It does a lot for the community. Right now we're collecting toys for needy children in the county. We go out and purchase toys the kids ask for. It also raises money for scholarships for two women, one an undergraduate and the other a non-traditional student. We also recognize women who make contributions to the community. "
WHow are you involved with the Greater Oswego Chamber?
"I deal with the small business week. We choose businesses of the year and I co-chair that committee. That's a fun event because we get to recognize businesses that serve the community."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
"I see myself in a similar role in the not-for-profit arena. I see myself making people's lives nicer. Hospice touches people at a difficult point in their lives; it's nice to do anything I can to make them happier."
